In the first week of its release, ‘Thama’ had crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and the film had made Rs 108.4 crore. In the second week, its earnings declined by 82.75 percent and it did a business of Rs 18.7 crore. However, on the third Friday i.e. the 18th day of its release, it fell below the Rs 1 crore mark for the first time and earned around Rs 80 lakh. On the 19th day, with a yield of 87.50 percent, it earned Rs 1.5 crore.
- According to the early trend report of SACNILC, ‘Thama’ did a business of Rs 1.65 crore on the 20th day of its release i.e. on the third Sunday.
- With this, the total earning of 20 days of ‘Thama’ has now become Rs 131.05 crore.
‘Thama’ broke the pride of Salman’s Sikandar
‘Thama’ did wonders on the 20th day of its release. Not only did the film see a boom in its business on the third Sunday but it also beat Salman Khan’s Sikandar’s lifetime collection of Rs 129.95 crore (Koimoi figures) with its earning of Rs 131.05 crore. Now it is moving towards joining the Rs 150 crore club. However, to touch this figure it still needs to earn Rs 19 crore more.
At present this film has a chance to earn till 14th November because after this De De Pyar De 2 will be released in theatres. With the arrival of this film of Ajay Devgan, the earnings of ‘Thama’ will get a big blow. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how much ‘Thama’ is able to earn till 14th November.
