Candidate Attacked by Villagers: There is an uproar in the political corridors right now. Many candidates are actively campaigning for the victory of their party. Meanwhile, during the Bihar elections, stones were pelted during the public relations campaign of Anil Kumar, MLA from Gayaji’s Tikari Vidhan Sabha constituency and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) candidate. This incident took place in Dighora village.
Angry villagers attacked the MLA’s convoy with bricks and stones, breaking the windows of several vehicles. MLA Anil Kumar suffered head and hand injuries, while several of his supporters were injured.
9 detained, search for other accused continues
After reports of the attack on the MLA, District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar and SSP Anand Kumar inspected the scene. They met the injured and taking immediate action took nine people into custody from the spot. Raids are on to arrest the other accused. Panchanpur police station has registered a case in this regard and further action is being taken.

The villagers were angry about the lack of water drainage in the area
Due to non-construction of drains and roads in Dighora village, there was protest among the villagers against MLA Anil Kumar. The MLA had reached Dighora during a public relations campaign. Enraged villagers attacked them with bricks and stones.
With the help of the MLA’s security personnel, the convoy of vehicles was pushed back and the MLA was taken out. Meanwhile, the villagers surrounded several activists and beat them up.
