A huge stampede broke out during Ekadashi on Saturday at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Kashibuga, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Nine people died and many pilgrims were injured.

According to reports, a large number of devotees visited the temple during the month of Kartik. The rush of devotees became so great that the local administration and temple management were unable to control the situation. Suddenly, a scuffle broke out, leading to a stampede. People started falling over each other, causing chaos. Relief and rescue operations are underway, and the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
