Famous actor Satish Shah died in Mumbai on Saturday. He was 74 years old. After his death, Hinduja Hospital located at Shivaji Park has issued a statement, in which it was told that the condition of Satish Shah was not stable.
Film producer Ashok Pandit had informed about the death of Satish Shah on social media. He had told that Satish Shah was taken to Hinduja Hospital located in Shivaji Park, where he died.
‘Despite CPR he could not be saved’
PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Center has issued an official statement to the media. According to this, ‘We are deeply saddened by the demise of famous actor Satish Shah. This morning the hospital received an emergency call regarding Shah’s health. An ambulance with a medical team was immediately sent to his residence, where he was found unconscious. CPR was started on him in the ambulance, which PD. Continued till reaching Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre. Despite the best efforts of our medical team, Satish Shah could not be saved.
Issuing condolences to the actor’s family, he wrote, ‘Shah was a popular artist whose remarkable contribution to Indian cinema and television will always be remembered. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans during this difficult time.
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit expressed grief
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit confirmed the death of Satish Shah through social media. In this he said, ‘With a heavy heart, I want to inform that our friend and an excellent actor Satish Shah passed away today at around 2:30 pm due to kidney failure. While at home, his health deteriorated and he was immediately taken to the hospital. Unfortunately he could not escape. His last rites will take place tomorrow. This is a huge loss for the industry. I have worked with him on many projects. I was returning from the funeral of Piyush Pandey, when my family informed me about Satish’s demise. It is being told that the last rites of Satish Shah will be performed in Mumbai on Sunday.
