Now Karan Johar has clarified his statement and said that his point has been misrepresented. The film maker has said that he will always be proud of ‘Homebound’.
Karan Johar has shared a post on Instagram Story in which he has written – ‘My request to friends and media members is that they should not misinterpret or misquote my comments on our film ‘Homebound’. This was an academic conversation on the business of our films, I will always be proud of ‘Homebound’.
‘We want to take our film to the global stage…’
Regarding ‘Homebound’, Karan Johar further wrote – ‘It will always shine in our film collection as one of our best and most sensitively acted and directed films. We are actively working to give our film a larger audience and presence on the global stage and are also thrilled with the daily increase in domestic viewership.
