Another major bus accident has occurred in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. A private bus carrying workers suddenly caught fire. The accident occurred after touching a high-tension wire. Around 12 laborers were badly burnt, while two people died in this terrible accident.
The accident took place in Manoharpur area, 65 km from Jaipur city. Five to six gas cylinders were also stored in the bus. After the fire, these gas cylinders burst, burning the bus completely. The injured are being sent to different hospitals for treatment. The number of dead and injured is expected to rise.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed grief over the Jaipur bus accident. In an ex-post, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma wrote, “The news of the loss of life in the bus accident in Manoharpur, Jaipur is very sad. The authorities concerned have been directed to provide proper treatment to the injured. I pray to God for a speedy recovery to the departed souls.”

According to a report by news agency IANS, the bus was carrying workers at a brick kiln in Todi, Shahpura. On touching a high-tension line, the bus was electrified, causing a fire.
Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot also expressed grief over the accident. He wrote in an ex-post, “Sad news of two deaths and several injuries after a bus full of laborers caught fire after touching a high-tension line in Jaipur’s Manoharpur. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
