PM Kisan Yojana: Once again good news is coming for crores of farmers across the country. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is ambitiously undertaken by the Central Government, financial assistance is provided to farmers three times a year. An installment of Rs 2,000 will be deposited in the bank account of the eligible farmers each time. In this way the government provides a total assistance of Rs 6,000 to the farmers every year. Now the farmers are eagerly waiting for the 21st installment.
Earlier there was talk of depositing money in farmers’ accounts before Diwali, but now the government is expected to release the 21st installment in November 2025. However, the government has not officially announced any date yet. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a scheme launched in 2019 to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, the central government has already transferred thousands of crores of rupees in farmers’ accounts.
How many times will the money come?
The central government directly deposits Rs 2,000 each into the farmers’ accounts thrice in every financial year. These installments are usually released between April to July, August to November, December to March. Last installment i.e. 20th installment came in August 2025, now 21st installment is likely to come in November. The benefit of this scheme is available only to farmers who have registered their name in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Portal Beneficiary List and completed e-KYC. If any farmer’s e-KYC is incomplete or there is any mistake in the bank account, the money will not be credited to them.

Official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be visited at pmkisan.gov.in. Go to the “Know Your Status” or “Beneficiary Status” section of the website, enter the registration number and fill the captcha code. After this, the screen will show whether your installment has arrived or not. In case registration number is not remembered, it can be retrieved through “Know Your Registration Number” option on the website.
