Apart from acting, he is also recognized as his lifestyle and style icon. But his son Vedant chose a different career path for himself.
Vedanta won 5 gold medals in this field
R Madhavan’s son Vedant Madhavan is an international level swimmer and has become the player to win five gold medals in Malaysian Open. Apart from this, Vedanta has won gold and silver in Danish Open and also bronze in Latvian and Thai Open. Apart from this, he has stood fifth in the Youth Commonwealth Games.
Vedant is only interested in sports
During an interview with GQ, Madhavan had told many important things about his son Vedant. He told that Vedant is not only dedicated to his sports but also leads a very disciplined life. He starts the day by waking up in Brahma Muhurta. Due to which they feel positive the whole day.

Talking about his son, R Madhavan said that ‘Spiritually, Brahma Muhurta is the best time to start the day. Vedant wakes up at 4 in the morning and feels positive the whole day. Apart from this, he goes to sleep only at eight o’clock in the night. Vedant is a professional swimmer and does everything with discipline. ,
Vedanta focuses on balanced diet
Vedant is 20 years old and is 6 feet 3 inches tall. He is also very fit at this age. He works very hard to keep his body strong and ready for the game. R Madhavan told that Vedant also eats food as if he is doing some exercise. They not only focus on a balanced diet but also keep in mind how to chew food. Vedant completed his schooling from Universal American School, Dubai.
