A 29-year-old singer has accused Sachin Sanghvi, composer and singer of the musical duo Sachin-Jigar, of sexual harassment. After which Sachin Sanghvi was arrested in Mumbai. However, Sanghvi was later released on bail. The victim woman claimed that Sanghvi had promised to marry her and give her a chance in a music album. She also claimed that Sanghvi had forced her to have an abortion in 2024. However, Sachin’s lawyer has claimed that the allegations against his client are “completely baseless”. Sachin is married and has a daughter.
Sachin’s lawyer called the allegations false
Sachin’s lawyer Aditya Mithe spoke to PTI and termed the allegations against his client as completely false. He argued that the manner in which his client was detained by the authorities was also illegal. Mithe said, “The allegations made in the FIR against my client are completely baseless. There is no merit in this case, the detention of my client by the police was illegal, and hence he was immediately released on bail. We intend to defend all the allegations fully and clearly.”
Sachin himself has not yet given any answer to the allegations.
Let us tell you that a case has been registered against the musician under sections 69 and 74 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Sachin’s personal Instagram account is currently deactivated, and the composer has not personally responded to any of the allegations till Saturday morning.

She claimed that Sachin had promised her a chance to sing in an album and also promised marriage in exchange for sex.
