New Delhi : Indian ODI team vice-captain Shreyas Iyer has been taken out of the ICU of a hospital in Sydney. Shreyas Iyer was injured while taking a catch in the third ODI between India and Australia. BCCI has informed that Shreyas Iyer’s condition is stable and improving.
The third ODI between India and Australia was played on October 25 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Shreyas Iyer was injured while taking a catch from Alex Carey. Alex Carey was rushed to the hospital after being injured.
According to Cricbuzz sources, Shreyas Iyer is out of danger and will be admitted to the hospital for observation for a few more days. Shreyas Iyer is being monitored by doctors for internal bleeding due to a rib injury. An urgent visa has been applied for by Shreyas Iyer’s family. After getting permission in that regard, the family will leave for Australia, it is reported.
