Actress-author Soha Ali Khan recently made many revelations related to her life in her podcast “All About Her”. During this time he also told that every October his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi used to give him Rs 50. Soha also told the surprising reason for this.
every Why did Soha get Rs 50 from her father in the month of October?
Soha Ali Khan said, “When I was 12 years old, my father gave me Rs 500 as a birthday gift, but interestingly, he gave me an option, I could spend it as per my wish or I could return Rs 500 and in return he would give me Rs 50 every October.” The actress said she chose the second option because “I felt he wanted me to do it, and he kept his promise. So every year, without fail, I would get Rs 50 from him in October. And that small amount seemed like a lesson in savings, and how a small, consistent habit can add up over time and become important.”
Financial discipline became part of life
She added, “And this exercise taught me the importance of saving, the importance of planning for the future, and I think I have been able to take that mindset with me, whether it’s using my credit card as a debit card. Or paying my bills on time, or how I want to stay on top of my finances, keeping track of my finances, financial discipline has become a part of my identity today.”
