According to the recently released list, IAS Mahendra Kumar Singh was posted as CDO Rampur, but within 12 hours he was re-transferred and now he has been posted as CDO Maharajganj. IAS Mahendra Kumar Singh was re-transferred within hours. IAS Gulab Chand has now been appointed CDO Rampur in his place. It is to be noted that IAS Gulab Chand was earlier transferred to the post of CDO of Maharajganj, which has now been canceled and he has been made CDO of Rampur.

Within 24 hours he withdrew his order

The Chief Secretary withdrew his order within 24 hours. IAS M. Devram, who is the principal secretary of the appointment department, revoked his order within 24 hours. According to sources, the new transfer order has been issued after special recommendations and pressure. After this, various speculations are being made in the bureaucracy regarding this decision of the appointment department.

There is a lot of discussion in the bureaucracy regarding this decision. Within hours of the transfer negotiations, SCS cadre IAS officers are managing to get the transfer canceled or diverted to another district even among “sirs”, while RR cadre IAS officers are unsuccessful despite recommending their bureaucrat wife for deployment nearer the district.

It is also being said that more major changes can be seen at the administrative level in the coming days. Due to this, small transfers of IAS and PCS officers are likely to continue.

Let it be known that the UP government had transferred 46 IAS officers including three Mandal Ayuktas, 10 District Officers on Tuesday before the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list. Among them were the names of IAS Mahendra Kumar Singh and IAS Gulab Chand.
IAS Mahendra Kumar Singh was earlier posted as Additional District Officer in Ayodhya. He was transferred as Chief Development Officer Rampur, but after just 12 hours he was transferred again to CDO Maharajganj. While IAS Gulab Chand was transferred from Additional District Officer Moradabad to CDO Maharajganj, he has now been transferred to CDO Rampur.
