Bihar Assembly Election : Patna : Union Minister Jitanram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha candidate and MLA from Tikari Assembly constituency Anil Kumar was attacked in Dighaura village. According to Anil Kumar’s claim, stones were pelted and firing was also done. Anil Kumar had gone to Dighaura village to campaign for the elections. In this incident, Anil Kumar suffered a head injury, while some of his colleagues were injured.
After the incident, the injured Anil Kumar and his supporters were taken to Tikari Health Center. Upendra Kushwaha’s campaign meeting was held at Mau in Tikari assembly constituency on Wednesday. After this meeting, Anil Kumar’s campaign started. After this incident, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
A video of the incident related to the attack on MLA Anil Kumar has come to light. It clearly shows that when Anil Kumar reached Dighaura village for campaigning, some people blocked his vehicle. Then they started attacking with bricks and stones. The security guards took the vehicles back showing the situation.
Conspiracy to murder was: Anil Kumar
After the attack in Dighaura village by Hindustani Awam Morcha candidate Anil Kumar, the people of Yadav community were aggressive. Directly started the attack with bricks and stones. Anil Kumar also alleged that it was a conspiracy to murder. There was firing and stone pelting. At this time no one saw whether he was an MLA or not. Vehicles were damaged. Initially there were 50-60 people, then the number went up to 500, said Anil Kumar.
Anil Kumar is the MLA of this constituency and is contesting again. The villagers were angry because of the lack of road and drain work in Dighaura village. That is why it is said that this kind of thing happened.
Meanwhile, Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases. The first phase of voting will be held on November 6 and the second phase will be held on November 11. Counting of votes will be held on November 14. Bihar has a total of 243 assembly seats. In Bihar, there is a major contest between NDA and Mahagathbandhan. NDA has announced to contest elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. However, he has not announced the Chief Ministerial candidate. On the other hand, Mahagathbandhan has declared RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate.
