Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress and RJD during an election rally in Bihar’s Ara. He said that the success of Operation Sindoor boosted the morale of the country but the opposition parties were not happy about it. He said that the Congress and its ally, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) were unhappy with Operation Sindoor. In a scathing attack on the Gandhi family, he said, “There were explosions in Pakistan, but the royal family of the Congress was asleep. Pakistan and Congress bigwigs still have not recovered from the shock of Operation Sindoor.”

Prime Minister Modi claimed that there is a lot of tension within the alliance over the distribution of seats. Just before the deadline for withdrawal of nominations, “a big game was played behind closed doors,” he said. According to him, the Congress did not want to declare any RJD leader as its chief ministerial candidate, but the RJD “pressured” him to accept his post. Prime Minister Modi said there was a lot of infighting going on within the grand alliance in Bihar, and an RJD leader was chosen as the chief ministerial candidate at gunpoint.

Prime Minister Modi said that the rift between RJD and Congress is growing. The Manifesto was issued without consulting the Congress. Congress is not being listened to even during the election campaign. He said that if this situation remains before the elections, it will worsen later. Prime Minister Modi further said that such people cannot do Bihar any good.

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi compared the erstwhile RJD regime with the current NDA government. He said the RJD era was called “Jungle Raj”, which was characterized by brutality, guns, superstition, misrule and corruption. He claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the NDA government have brought Bihar out of that era.
