India A Playing XI vs South Africa A for 1st Test Match : Under the leadership of Rishabh Pant, India ‘A’ team will play a two-match four-day unofficial Test series against South Africa ‘A’ team. The series will start from October 30 (Thursday) in Bangalore. Through this series, Rishabh Pant will return to the field after recovering from injury after a long time. Sai Sudharsan has been appointed as the vice-captain. Ayush Mhatre, the captain of the under-19 team, has also been selected. But the chances of him getting a chance in the first match are very low.
India ‘A’ team will be led by Rishabh Pant
In the first match against South Africa, under the leadership of Pant, India will enter the field with the aim of victory. The team can go with a strong playing eleven for this match. Devdutt Padikkal for India and N. Jagdeeshan can perform the opening duties. N. Jagdeesan is a wicketkeeper and has been in excellent form recently. Sai Sudarshan has been appointed as the vice-captain for this series, and is likely to bat at number three.
Rajat Patidar, who is currently scoring runs in domestic cricket, will bat at number four.
