According to a PTI report, if the Indian women’s cricket team wins the Women’s ODI World Cup final against South Africa today, the BCCI is all set to give them a whopping prize of Rs 125 crore. The BCCI intends to reward the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team at par with the men’s team. A senior BCCI official told PTI that the BCCI believes in paying men and women players equally. Therefore, we discussed that if our women’s team wins the World Cup, their prize should not be less than the men’s team. Meanwhile, when India won the T20 World Cup in America under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the BCCI gave a whopping bonus of Rs 125 crore to the entire team, including players and support staff. How much rupees will ICC win the World Cup? (Women World Cup 2025 Prize Money)
The winning team of the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup will receive the biggest ever prize money, the ICC announced before the start of the tournament. This year, the winning team will receive USD 4.48 million which is approximately ₹39.55 crore. The prize money is four times more than the previous World Cup, the 2022 Women’s ODI World Cup.
