Mumbai News: One such case has come to light from Mumbai’s Powai, which has created a stir. A man held 22 children hostage in a studio on the pretext of shooting. The accused, identified as Rohit Arya, carried out the sensational incident at the RA studio. Police rescued the children safely. Joint Commissioner Satyanarayana Chaudhary told ABP News that the accused has been taken into custody.
The accused released a video after taking the children hostage. In it he says, “I am Rohit Arya. Instead of committing suicide, I made a plan and took some kids hostage. I don’t have many demands. I have a few simple demands… I have a few questions. I am neither a terrorist nor am I asking for a huge amount of money. I have taken these kids hostage for a simple conversation.”
In the video message, the accused adds, “I am not alone. There are many people with me. I am going to talk and find a solution.” Police said that at 1:45 a.m. they received information that an airgun and some chemicals were found at the scene of the incident. The accused was alone. They tried to find out the reason, but he was adamant. The crime scene investigation is ongoing. According to police, there were two other people in the room, including an elderly man.
