Ind Vs Aus 2nd T20 : Team India got off to a very poor start in the second T20 against Australia. After losing the toss, India lost four wickets for just 40 runs. Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood wreaked havoc right from the start, dismissing skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma in a single over. Team India has had such a poor start in T20 matches very rarely.

Abhishek Sharma fell alone and fell heavily

Abhishek Sharma completed his half-century with a truly combative knock in these difficult conditions. It was his first fifty in a T20I against Australia and sixth in his T20 career overall. Abhishek showed a beautiful combination of patience and aggression as he smashed his half-century off just 23 balls. His innings gave Team India a boost.

Josh Hazlewood’s Havoc

Josh Hazlewood struck a shocker at the start of the Indian innings. He took three wickets in the first six overs, including Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma. Just like Hazlewood’s form in the ODI series, it continued in this match as well. He dismissed Suryakumar Yadav on a ball that was almost impossible to play. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill and Tilak Verma lost their wickets with hasty batting.

Both Gill and Tilak fail

Shubman Gill took an easy catch to Mitchell Marsh at mid-off in an attempt to play a big shot. Tilak Verma, however, attempted a careless shot and the ball hit the top of the bat straight to wicketkeeper Josh English. Hazlewood took 3 wickets for just 6 runs in his first three overs.

Even Sanju Samson did not make it

Ace Sanju Samson could not do anything special to play at number three. Nathan Ellis dismissed him for 2 runs off just 4 balls. All-rounder Akshar Patel then tried to recover the innings with Abhishek but he was run out for 7 runs. After this wicket, India’s score was 5 for 50 in 8 overs and the team was again in trouble.
