India beat Australia Semi Final Womens World Cup 2025 : In the second semi-final of the Women’s World Cup 2025, Team India defeated Australia with a strong performance and entered the final. India beat Australia by five wickets thanks to a century partnership between captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemima Rodriguez. With this victory, Team India has reached the final with a historic performance. India will now face South Africa for the title on Sunday, November 2 at the D in Mumbai. Y. It will be held at Patil Stadium.

Jemima Rodriguez became the real superstar of India’s victory!
Jemima Rodríguez mesmerized everyone with a stunning knock of 127 not out in the semi-finals. The right-handed batsman hit 14 fours in 134 balls and maintained a strike rate of 94.78. After the dismissal of Shefali Verma in the second over, Jemima came to the crease and took complete control of the match. From the start, she hit a firework of powerful fours with single-doubles. She shared a century partnership with captain Harmanpreet Kaur. Harmanpreet Kaur’s powerful knock of 89 saw the Indian team win with just 9 balls to spare and easily reach the target.
This is only the second time in the history of Women’s World Cup that India have beaten Australia in the semi-finals. Earlier in the 2017 World Cup, India defeated Australia by 36 runs. Defending champions Australia’s dream of winning the World Cup for the eighth time remained unfulfilled.
With this victory, the Indian team has also made a world record in its name. This is the biggest successful run chase in the history of Women’s World Cup. The previous record was held by Australia, who had chased down the target of 331 runs against India in the same tournament.

Phoebe Lichfield hits a stunning century
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first, which proved to be the right thing to do. For Australia, 22-year-old Phoebe Lichfield scored a stunning century, while veteran Ellyse Perry played a storming innings. But captain Alyssa Healy was dismissed for 5 runs. Lichfield and Perry then put on a strong partnership of 155 runs for the second wicket. Amanjotham Kaur eventually sent Lichfield back. Lichfield scored 119 off just 93 balls to score a stunning century. Her innings included 17 fours and 3 sixes. Beth Mooney was then dismissed for 24 off 22 balls, while Annabelle Sutherland returned for just 3 runs.
Ellis Perry’s powerful knock of 77 runs
Alice Perry scored 77 off 88 balls and was also dismissed. Ashley Gardner played aggressively and scored 63 off 45 balls, but was run out. Finally Tahlia McGrath (12) and Kim Garth (17) contributed little. Sri Charani and Deepti Sharma took 2 wickets each for India, while Radha Yadav, Kranti Goud and Amanjotham Kaur got 1 each as Australia were bowled out for 338 in 49.5 overs.
