Sanju Samson may sign with another team before this year’s IPL 2026 auction. According to a report in Times of India, Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals will soon sign a deal for Sanju Samson. It has been confirmed that Samson is leaving the Rajasthan team. However, reports suggest that Delhi did not want to trade any of their key players. On the other hand, there are also reports that KKR are trying their best to bring KL Rahul into their team.
Where will Sanju Samson go?
According to a report in the Times of India, KL Rahul’s name was included in the Rajasthan-Delhi pact. however, Delhi are not ready to let go of their best performer last season. However, RR management likes the idea of trading Samson for Tristan Stubbs. However, there are also reports that Rajasthan want Stubbs and another player in exchange for Sanju Samson. Delhi management is reportedly not happy with the idea of swapping two players for Samson. The same report also revealed that Rajasthan Royals had approached the Chennai Super Kings management to buy Samson. RR wanted to trade Samson for Ravindra Jadeja.
KKR interested in KL Rahul
Kolkata Knight Riders need a top-order batsman and captain, so the team is pushing hard to sign KL Rahul. The friendship between KKR’s new head coach and KL Rahul is not hidden. The management is also in favor of taking Rahul, but the question is which player should be sent to another team in his place. Andre Russell could be an option, but Delhi will want to invest their time and money in young players. KKR are unlikely to let go of star players like Varun Chakraborty and Rinku Singh.
