Celebrating his 25 years in the industry, Hiten Tejwani appeared on Siddharth Kanan’s podcast. Here he narrated the story of his early days to the people, along with this the actor also shared many things about his financial and professional growth. The actor said- ‘I have worked hard in the last 25 years. When I started working, I used to go to my house only to freshen up.
Salary did not increase for many years
Hiten Tejwani further said- ‘During that period, I changed so many drivers because no one could manage his time with my working horse. Many times, I myself have even driven while sleeping and the car collided with the divider but by the grace of God, nothing happened. Taking his point forward, Hiten Tejwani also made many revelations regarding salary. He told that his salary did not increase for many years.
There was no increase in salary for years
For the serial ‘Sukanya’, the actor used to get only Rs 1000 per day. This serial was shot only for 12 days in a month. Not only this, the actor told that even though he was the lead actor of ‘Kutumb’, he did not get any special increment. After this, after working continuously for a month, when he finally got a check of Rs 1 lakh, his happiness was sky high.
Balance between professional and personal life is very important
In Siddharth Kanan’s podcast, the TV actor was also asked about Deepika Padukone. The host of the show asked her about Deepika Padukone’s exit from films like ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Spirit’. Hiten Tejwani also answered this question very beautifully. He said- ‘Right now you cannot work non-stop. In this era, such cameras are available which can recognize everything. If you are tired, it is clearly visible on the screen. According to me, it is very important to have balance between personal and professional life.
