BJP Big Action: Ahead of the assembly elections, the BJP has taken major action against four leaders who violated party discipline. The BJP has expelled these leaders from the party for six years for their involvement in anti-party activities.
Let us tell you that this action has been taken by the BJP before the Bihar Vidhan Sabha elections 2025. BJP Bihar state headquarters in-charge Arvind Sharma issued an official letter saying that the concerned leaders have decided to contest against NDA candidates, contrary to party policy and discipline. Sharma wrote in the letter that their actions are anti-party, have badly damaged the image of the organization, and this act of indiscipline cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
BJP expelled these leaders from the party
Bihar state headquarters in-charge Arvind Sharma said that the leaders against whom BJP has taken action include Pawan Yadav from Kahalgaon Vidhan Sabha seat, Varun Singh from Bahadurganj seat, Anup Kumar Srivastav from Gopalganj and Surya Bhan Singh from Barhara seat. All these leaders had decided to contest the election against the official NDA candidates. The party clarified that such activities not only affect organizational unity but also create superstition among the masses.
Opposition activities will not be tolerated – Arvind Sharma
Arvind Sharma said that BJP is a disciplined organisation, where organization and ideology are given priority over personal ambitions. Therefore, indiscipline or rebellious activities at any level will not be tolerated.
It is worth noting that dissatisfaction is being seen within all parties regarding the distribution of tickets for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. Rebel leaders have decided to contest as independent candidates on several seats. Taking a tough stance on this, the BJP has given a clear message that no party is above discipline.
Only NDA official candidates will be the face of the party
Political analysts believe that with this action, the BJP has also served as a warning to its remaining disaffected leaders, so that there is no further rebellion within the organization ahead of the elections. With this decision, the Bihar BJP has made it clear that only the official NDA candidates will be the face of the party in the election season and no personal ambition will come before the interest of the organization.
