Punjab News: A case of abducting a young man and cutting off his legs has come to light in Kharakan village of Kaithal district. Kulwant Bajigar, MLA of Shutrana Constituency of Patiala District of Punjab, his two sons and others are accused of abducting the youth and later breaking his legs. In this regard, Gurcharan, a resident of village Chichhar Wali, has filed a complaint at the Guhla police station. Based on this, a case has been registered against the accused in Ramthali Chowki.
The election of Sarpanchi was contested in the village
Gurcharan says that he contested the village sarpanchi election. At that time, the MLA’s brother also contested the Sarpanchi election. After the election, the MLA and his brother have a grudge against him. On October 28, he and a friend went to Kharakon village to collect gravel. The youths who came there in a Swift car took them out of the car at gunpoint.
Arrived with pistol and rod
Two youths had pistols, and one had an iron rod in his hand. The accused kidnapped him and forced him into the car. One of the accused received a video call from MLA’s son, he said that he will upload the video against my father again. The second son said to break both his legs. Then the accused hit her legs with an iron rod. Seeing the people coming, the accused ran away from the spot.
DSP Guhla Kuldeep Beniwal said that the police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. Further action will be taken based on the investigation.
The injured youth posted the video on social media
Now, Gurcharan has also released a video on social media. The young man claims that MLA Kulwant Singh has made a big mistake by attacking him. “It was right for you to let me die. You took a dead snake around your throat. Your future generations will remember how one’s legs are broken.”
The youth claims that there was an election dispute a year ago. Because of that enmity, he was kidnapped with his hands and eyes blindfolded. The kidnappers took him to a canal. One of the accused pointed a gun at him, and the other, on the video call, spoke to the MLA’s son Gurmeet alias Vicky. The second was Hardeep Sarpanch, and the third was Satpal. They have occupied the land and had to be identified.
MLA’s brother became Sarpanch
In the video, young Gurcharan said, Kulwant Singh “look at the oil and look at its flow.” He said that the MLA’s brother had earlier appointed him as Sarpanch. He dismissed his position from the court. He had also posted several videos on social media against the accused. The accused had earlier threatened him. The MLA had earlier registered a case against him. The young man said that he will fight the legal battle further.
