Australia vs India, 1st T20I Update : The five-match T20 series between India and Australia has begun. The first match of the series is being played in Canberra on Wednesday, October 29. In this match, Australian captain Mitchell Marsh has won the toss and decided to bowl first, so the Indian team will bat first. Meanwhile, BCCI has given an update regarding Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Regarding Nitish Kumar Reddy BCCI gave an update

Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the first three T20Is. He was recovering from a left hamstring injury sustained in the second ODI in Adelaide. However, he now complains of neck spasms, which have affected his rehabilitation and mobility. The BCCI medical team is currently monitoring his condition closely.

Regarding the team selection for the first T20 match, captain Suryakumar Yadav said during the coin toss that Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy are not playing in the match. But, he did not give any information about Nitish’s injury. A 16-man squad was selected for the series, of which 11 players are in the playing eleven and 5 players will sit on the bench. Arshdeep Singh is currently the highest wicket-taker for India in T20 International cricket, but he too could not make it to the team’s playing eleven.
